Year 4 today visited three fantastic historical sites in York. Starting at Barley Hall, the children learnt lots about how people lived in Viking times. Class 9 then moved on to the famous Jorvik Centre where we were able to touch and explore dozens of fascinating artifacts. Finally, we descended upon the Jorvik DIG Centre and enjoyed exploring the variety of bones that were excavated from the Viking era.

All the children were outstanding throughout and a credit to Harwood Park.
