In English, we have been focusing on poetry. Our main text has been ‘The Sound Collector’ about a stranger who came along and stole all the sounds we are so used to hearing.
Class 7 were tasked with thinking about what would happen if the Sound Collector came to school. What sounds would he take? Where in school would he go?

- We set off on our journey around school

- We moved on to the dining room, where we would hear some very unique sounds that we probably wouldn’t hear elsewhere

- First stop was the hall, where we considered noises we would hear during PE and during assembly

- Our last destination was outside, where we spent some time sitting in the sun and listening to some more natural sounds
