Good Morning Class 10! Hope your week is going well and you are all keeping busy with your home learning tasks. Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to. You can also email me at class10@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk with any questions or comments.

Here are your tasks for today:

  • Daily Reading (at least ten minutes – please record in  your reading record)
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 10, Lesson 5 Dividing by 10 (2) (Pg 132)  Here’s the Discover guidance to help you (and if you’re struggling, check out this video again)
  • English: Grammar – Types of Sentences
  • Spelling: Playing Hangman is a great go-to game when it comes to spelling words. Remember, you can always use the definition as a clue!
  • Fluency: Times Tables Sheet
  • History: Finish writing up your notes about the Anglo-Saxons or Vikings. Make sure you organise your writing using headings and subheadings and write in full sentences.

Something fun:

  • The zoos in Edinburgh (Scotland) and San Diego (USA) have live streams of some of their animal enclosures. You can watch pandas, penguins, giraffes, elephants (my favourite) and more. Why not take a look at the links below and leave me a comment telling me what animal you watched and what they were up to!
    Edinburgh Zoo Live Cams
    San Diego Zoo Live Cams
  • If you have any Lego, action figures, toys or teddies. Could you create a motion video on your iPad or phone. You could create a fantasy story!

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost) If you have any questions about the work, please email me at class10@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk

Miss Reed 😊

Hi Miss Reed, I’ve found some of the work tricky over the last few days.

    Hello Miley,
Decimals can be challenging, so don’t worry if it’s taking a bit of time to get your head around. If you’re struggling with a question you can always ask for help on here or ask a parent to email class10@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk.
    Keep up the hard work.

Also – dojo for you for commenting and letting me know what you’re up to.
    Miss Reed
