Happy World Book Day! Class 13 have had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day this year. We have enjoyed dressing upas our favourite character and taken part in an Alice and Wonderland themed day!

In Science, we have been looking at micro-organisms. We have completed an experiment to show what happens when we add Yeats, water to different substances like sugar, coffee and flour. Class 13 had to predict which one would produce the most Co2 .
In Class 13 we have been celebrating Children’s mental health week by expressing ourselves. children were invited to come in an outfit that expressed their personality and took part in some communication and co-operation games.

This term in music, Class 13 are looking at different Jazz composers alongside the variety of music they have looked at in previous years. This week, we were able to test out our skills on the glockenspiels and began learning our first Jazz piece.
This week, Year 6 had a visit from a theatre company who presented a workshop titled ‘Crossing the Lines’ . This workshop showed children the dangers and issues of child exploitation and allowed the children think what they would do in that situation.
