This afternoon Class 3 have enjoyed taking part in a singing challenge. Different primary schools across greater Manchester have joined in with the singing challenge. The children were very excited and enthusiastic about joining in with the challenge and felt apart of the community.
The children have been using cubes and objects to subtract this week before moving on to more abstract approaches of writing and solving subtraction sentences using two digit and single digit numbers and number lines. Well done Reception! ✏️📚

Today we have been celebrating the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan. The children loved their picnic lunch and helped to decorate the dining hall.
Children in Reception have created some beautiful artwork inspired by our Space topic. We have used a marbling technique to create a swirly colourful planet which we have stuck onto our starry backgrounds.
In PE Class 5 have been learning about the sport of Javelin. We used special foam javelins to practise our throwing skills. We ended our lesson with a competition. Well done to Junior and Alec who were our throwing champions!
