On Monday the children enjoyed a fantastic sports session. They enjoyed joining in with different circuit activities including press ups, star jumps and jogging on the spot.

On Friday Class 3 enjoyed a 2nd African Drumming workshop. The children first learnt how to clap to the beat and then transferred these skills to drum to the beat.
Class 3 have been enjoying a fun and exciting week in Mathematics learning all about Arrays. The children had to read the statements and then make the arrays creating skyscrapers.
Class 3 came back to school on Monday to find an explorers backpack had been left. They explored the contents and used their inference skills to work out who the bag belonged to. The children are enjoying exploring the classroom using the items from the bag.
This week the children have finished our linked-learning learning journey by creating our very own African Art. We have looked at African prints and focused our art work on the different animal prints. To create our art work we used pastels. We rubbed the pastels to create different patterns.

Class 3 have had a fun morning joining in with the Easter drama workshop. The children have enjoyed learning about the Easter story and getting the chance to act it out.
Class 3 have enjoyed an exciting afternoon listening and joining in with African drumming! The children have the opportunity to play music to the beat and learn about the rhythm.
Class 3 have enjoyed a fantastic world book day! We have focused on Room on the Broom. We have wrote our own potions and made up our own magic spells that turned Mrs Lees face green!
Class 3 have been having lots of fun measuring objects from around our classroom using non-standard units.
