French 🇫🇷

As part of our French topic,  we have been discussing the different experiences that French and British children have of school. We were a bit jealous that most French children don’t wear uniform at school!  

Bikeability 🚲

Science investigation

Class 13 have been learning about Light this half-term.

As part of this topic, we investigated Isaac Newton’s discovery that light is made up of a spectrum of colours. Once you slow down the light waves, you are able to see the individual colours that make white light.


We made our own wheels of colour and spun them quickly to demonstrate Newton’s theory. (more…)

Football Club

Children in Year 5/6 began the after school football club with Mr Stamp and Miss Wolf on Thursday. They all played really well and showed excellent attitude throughout. The next session is this Thursday at 3:30.

Year 6 had a trip to Crucial Crew at Rochdale Football Stadium. In groups, professionals such as nurses, police officers and transport police explained the importance of health and safety.
