Today Class 5 have been exploring the Geography of our town. We looked at a range of photographs of Heywood including some aerial photographs. We enjoyed finding the features we know and visit. Later we learned how to sort them into human and physical features.
Class 7 have been making bags to keep their passports safe for the holidays. They have taken a long time to make, but the results are worth the wait. As we have been learning about Peru we had a Spanish themed morning today. We listened to Spanish music and had a go at flamenco dancing! We practised saying hello and goodbye in Spanish. Then we made some potatas bravas and paella and did some food tasting!

Class 5 had a fantastic day in the sunshine at Formby Beach today. We enjoyed building sand castles, playing football, searching for sea creatures and burying each other! We all had a great time and the children made me very proud today with their super behaviour 😀
