Save the Earth!

This week, we have been learning about climate change and its impact on the planet. We came across new key vocabulary like fossil fuels, atmosphere, greenhouse gas and global warming. We then created a poster showing the ways climate change is affecting our Earth.

Norwegian delicacies

We had a delightful Geography lesson today as we started by recapping what we  learnt last lesson by grouping facts about Norway and the UK together. we then sampled some delicious Norwegian salmon. I think we agree it’s an acquired taste.

Earth Day

To celebrate Earth day tomorrow we talked about recycling, saving water and how important it is to keep our earth clean and healthy. We did some writing and made special posters to remind us to think about our planet.

Exploring Europe

This week in Geography, we have been exploring Europe. We discovered that Europe is the second smallest continent in size but has the third largest population  spread over 50 countries. We then used atlases to identify some countries and their capital cities.
