Class 14 have been enjoying the continued exploration of Anthony Horowitz’ Stormbreaker this week. Today’s lesson has involved the children identifying new vocabulary, finding definitions, applying them to the context of the text and coming up with imaginative alternatives.

The older children in Nursery have been working really hard in their phonics sessions. We have been practising our early reading skills this week. We have been segmenting and blending the sounds in simple 3 letter words and having a go at word building. We have really impressed Mrs Bal!
Auditions were held this afternoon for the main parts in our summer production High School Musical. Pupils from Years 5 & 6 worked hard learning lines and songs from the show for their audition.
