We have been jumping into pictures from Traction Man and pretending we are our superhero and his pet, Scrubbing Brush. We can now talk about what is going on in a picture, making inferences and discussing how a character is feeling
Class 6 have been working on their editing skills this week! We have been using our polishing pens to make sure we are using all the right punctuation, grammar and to improve our spellings. We are working really hard in English. G
Some of our boys have enjoyed accessing our reading area this morning in nursery. The children independently went in the reading area and showed each other books and discussed what was happening on each page.
To end our English lesson today, class 12 took their ‘swag bags’ and snook round their classroom pinching ideas from their peers. Children were able to share their writing and take credit for work which had been selected.
Nursery have been mark making outside making large circles with the chunky chalk. This is helping to develop the children’s gross motor skills and early writing skills.

Class 14 have been enjoying the continued exploration of Anthony Horowitz’ Stormbreaker this week. Today’s lesson has involved the children identifying new vocabulary, finding definitions, applying them to the context of the text and coming up with imaginative alternatives.
