Today we made a mini greenhouse, we used our skills and knowledge from last half term to design and create a mini greenhouse. We focused on 3D shapes and stability. We had lots of fun and we all helped one another!
In our design and technology lessons, Class 5 have been making puppets. We made an owl puppet to link with our text in English. We used many skills such as designing, cutting, sewing and evaluating. Our completed puppets have been proudly displayed for all to enjoy!

Class 11 have designed, created and evaluated Tudor roses as part of our D&T lesson in Linked Learning. We discussed how the Tudor rose was created by joining the White Rose of York and the red rose of Lancaster when Henry VII married Elizabeth of York. Many children found the clay rose (partly the petals) quite tricky to use and we evaluated how we could improve this skill in the future. Have a look at our clay designs below.
