This week we have been calculating the area of rectangles, triangles and parallelograms. We used pictorial representations to cut parallelograms to create rectangles which helped us to calculate the answer. We then used cubes to calculate the volume of 3D shapes. Once we could use the cubes, we calculated volume using a formula.
