Oliver, McKenzie and Elliot taught Class 9 all about internet safety and awareness today. The children were engaged throughout and there was some excellent discussion on how to ensure that we all stay safe when online.
Class 9 have become fantastic dodgeball players this term. They have shown great competitive spirit as well as showing a real improvement in teamwork and resilience. Well done Class 9!
Class 9 have been learning all about how to measure area this week. Starting by counting squares in rectilinear shapes, the children are now using multiplication to calculate area of many different shapes.
Year 4 have today used Google Earth to explore famous American landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Mount Rushmore, Times Square, Golden Gate Bridge and the Grand Canyon. This is a part of our current Linked Learning topic which will see us travel Route 66 in the coming weeks.
Year 4 have made excellent progress today in their continuation of work on factor pairs and prime numbers. Using Cuisenaire Rods, the children were able to identify different arrays in order to find factor pairs.
