Hour of Code

Class 9 took part in the worldwide event ‘Hour of Code’. This lesson was to celebrate computer science and why coding and computers are so important. We completed lots of challenges and activities to test our coding skills and had lots of fun!

Computational Thinking

Today Class 9 applied their computational thinking skills to a set of Berbas challenges. Children solved different problems including pattern recognition, decomposition and algorithm designs. Excellent teamwork skills were shown!

The Digital World

In Class 9, we started our computing topic by looking at the ground rules for using our devices and the internet in school. We also discussed how we use the Internet such as learning, playing games and for communication and why it is important to balance time online and offline. Read more…

TT Rockstars Day!

Painting as Claude Monet

Today Class 14 painted in the style of Claude Monet, a French impressionist painter. We used powder paints to paint his famous poppies painting. We focused on using quick, thick paint strokes without too much detail. Have a look at our paintings below.
