In our topic ‘Working Scientifically’ this week we have been testing substances to investigate whether they have a chemical reaction. We found out that vinegar (acid) and bicarbonate of soda (alkali) react and form a gas because they are so different. The children worked in groups and enjoyed reporting their findings.
