Children in Class 1 and 2 had an amazing day last week for our Mad Science day. Explosive Erica came and taught us all about the life cycle of a butterfly. The children learnt how the caterpillar hatches out of the egg, then becomes a chrysalis before turning into a butterfly! They got to decorate their own butterfly wings, make caterpillars from pipe cleaners and then got their own wings and pretended to be butterflies.
